Chazel Technologie Course plans to bring the new Porsche 911 GT4 R to the GT4 European Series grid next season after extending its relationship with the German manufacturer.
Chazel has been a regular entry in GT4 Europe over recent seasons, running both Alpine and BMW machinery. It has also built a successful relationship with Porsche, having purchased and operated several 992 GT3 Cup cars in championships such as the 24H Series, the Ultimate Cup European Series and Porsche Carrera Cup France
Based on the 992 GT3 Cup, the 911 GT4 R develops 430bhp at 8400rpm. Its naturally aspirated engine, torque, and weight of 1515kg make it perfect for competing at the front of the GT4 field.
This arrival will allow drivers to build a genuine career path within Chazel Technologie Course, from GT4 to the Porsche 992 Cup, with a presence in the main French and European championships. Chazel Technologie Course will have one of the most comprehensive GT4 offerings, able to provide its drivers with two different manufacturer pathways: Alpine and Porsche.
The collaboration with the French manufacturer remains fully integrated into the sporting project. The logical progression from the Alpine A110 Cup to the Alpine A110 GT4+ has already proven successful and will allow other drivers to follow this path.
The team will receive its first Porsche 911 GT4 Rs at the end of 2026. The first tests will be organized during the winter in order to be fully prepared for the first round of the 2027 season in the FFSA GT and GT4 European Series.

Team manager Louis Chazel said: “This new step is a continuation of what we have been doing for several years. In addition to the 992, the acquisition of the 911 GT4 R reinforces our commitment to Porsche. When the brand presented it at Spa, we immediately knew that this car had to be part of our future. It’s a fantastic opportunity to continue working closely with the brand while competing in championships we know very well.
The car has particularly interesting technical characteristics. Its robustness, naturally aspirated engine, and development by a brand with an established reputation are all factors that make the 911 GT4 R perfect for this category.
The sporting aspect is also appealing, as it opens up exciting prospects for our drivers. GT4 is the entry point to the Porsche pyramid, which leads to the Porsche Cup, then GT3, and opportunities within Porsche Motorsport. We can’t wait to start this new and exciting adventure.”
