The Belgian team's #30 Mercedes-AMG GT4 will be driven by former GT4 European Series champion Max Koebolt from the Netherlands and his compatriot Thierry Vermeulen at the French Grand Prix circuit this weekend.
Koebolt is set to start his 19th GT4 European Series race weekend in France and for the past three seasons the Dutchman was among the frontrunners in the series. In his debut season Koebolt won the drivers title and in 2018 and 2019 he was unlucky to miss out on the title on countback twice. In total, Koebolt managed to win eight of the 36 GT4 European Series races he contested thus far.
"It will be nice compete in a one-hour race again and of course I am looking forward to racing in the dark at Circuit Paul Ricard this weekend," said Koebolt.
His teammate will be Thierry Vermeulen, who will make his GT4 European Series debut in France. This season Vermeulen made a very successful debut in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux in a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport - clinching the title on his first attempt.
The #31 Mercedes-AMG GT4 will be driven by Kenneth Heyer and Esteban Muth. Heyer joined Selleslagh Racing Team at the Nürburgring in September, while Muth raced for the Belgian squad at Spa-Francorchamps last month, finishing on the podium twice.
Both Selleslagh Racing Team entries will compete in the Silver Cup of the GT4 European Series at Circuit Paul Ricard.
The return of Heyer and Muth also means Dutchman Bob Herber is not competing at the French track. Herber was the sole remaining rival for AGS Events' drivers Nicolas Gomar and Gilles Vannelet in the Am Cup title fight.
