The GT4 European Series will host its first-ever season Prologue test at Circuit Paul Ricard next April.
Following in the tradition set by the ever-growing GT World Challenge, the Prologue concept has proven the ideal way to launch a new season of competition, with the test being held on the eve of the first round at the French circuit.
With the GT World Prologue set for April 13-14, the GT4 European Series will get the same treatment next year, with the entirety of Thursday April 15 given over to exclusive running for the series, gathering all of the teams, drivers, cars and new liveries together for the first time.
This represents a major evolution for the GT4 European Series, giving teams and drivers the chance to prepare for the campaign before the official track action begins in Le Castellet across April 16-18.
The 2027 GT4 European Series season will again be contested across six events and 12 races, with a huge field featuring multiple manufacturers expected. After Circuit Paul Ricard, the field returns to Imola in Italy for the first time since 2022 before starring on the undercard of the world’s biggest GT race, the 24 Hours of Spa in June. Seaside venues Misano in Italy and Zandvoort in the Netherlands precede the season finale at Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya as the season ends in Spain for the first time since 2025.
All rounds will run alongside the GT World Challenge.
