Pichler and Nuredini set to lead Allied’s attack

Allied-Racing will return to the GT4 European Series Powered by RAFA Racing Club this season, and has confirmed Leo Pichler and Herolind Nuredini as its first Porsche pairing.

Allied-Racing has been a mainstay in the championship across recent seasons, running a combination of promising young talent from its Junior Academy programme and experienced racers across its multiple Porsche 718 Cayman RS CS GT4s.

For this year the German team will be back with a multi-car entry, with German GT Cup graduates Pichler and Nuredini its first confirmed duo. They will compete in the Silver class.

Austrian driver Pichler, 22, has been a multiple race-winner in ADAC GT4 Germany, and competed in that series with Allied back in 2022 when he was paired with former GT4 European Series Powered by RAFA Racing Club star Vincent Andronaco, the pair being race-winners at Hockenheim. Pichler won the GT4 class of the German GT Cup last year in a Razoon – More Than Racing Porsche and will now step up for a full European season with Allied.

German Nuredini competed as an Allied Junior Driver in the German GT Cup last season, impressing on his way to third in the championship, only a handful of points behind championship winner Pichler. At just 17, Nuredini has proven to be one of the most exciting GT drivers aged under 18 in Europe.

Allied-Racing said in a social media post: “This year it counts – getting all things together, drivers, teams, and car performance. Our final Porsche livery will be shared soon.

“Setting these young drivers on a Silver car in the GT4 European Series Powered by RAFA Racing Club is the consequent development of our Allied-Racing Junior Academy. At the end of 2024 we have no doubt their GT4 training will be done, and they will be ready for the next step into GT3 or Cup racing – so keep an eye on them.”
