Xwift Racing Events announced the 2024 season in the GT4 European Series Powered by RAFA Racing Club with a very clear statement, saying “we have exciting news!”. And exciting it is indeed, because from one Toyota the team is aiming to extend to a double line-up!
Antoine Potty and Etienne Cheli played a major part in Xwift Racing Events' first year in the series. The Belgian-French duo showcased exceptional driving on many occasions, and scored big points in their second ever event at Circuit Paul Ricard. After securing an impressive P2 in the first race in Southern France, the Potty slithered the #8 Toyota to its maiden win in that truly epic final lap in pouring rain. The tone was set, and Xwift Racing Events would continue to show excellent form throughout the season, finishing 2023 a mere seven points shy of the Silver Cup podium.
That splendid result fresh out of the starting blocks encouraged the team to pursue further success in 2024, and entering two cars may prove just the way to do that!
