Victor Weyrich in the #74 Racing Spirit of Léman Aston Martin AMR GT4 didn't waste any time to put in a low 2'13''-lap straight away. In the early stages, the #2 BMW M4 GT4 of Hofor Racing by Bonk Motorsport and the #36 Alpine A110 GT4 EVO were the only ones able to join him below the 2'14''-mark.
30 minutes into the session, the #74 Aston Martin had managed to lower its quickest lap time even further to 2'13''113, when just a few minutes later those ominous clouds would make that the fastest possible time for today.
With just over 20 minutes left to run, an afternoon summer rain shower passed over Circuit Paul Ricard, freezing the rankings in place. Second overall after Victor Weyrich goes to the fastest Am car with a 2'13.661 by GPA Racing's #72 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4. The quickest Pro-Am car completes the top 3 with EastSide Motorsport's #20 Mercedes-AMG hitting a 2'13.681.
15 minutes of always useful wet weather practice concluded today's action at Circuit Paul Ricard. Time now to focus on tomorrow's all important Qualifying session, starting at 9.15 CEST, and of course Race 1 at 14.55 CEST.
Both Qualifying and Race 1 will be streamed live on the GT World YouTube Channel and Facebook page.
