After the first session had been scrapped due to barrier repairs, the second also suffered an early stoppage when the #18 Team Spirit Racing Aston Martin paid a visit to the barriers. However, the clean-up was swift and running soon got underway again.
Alex Fontana started on the front foot, putting the Centri Porsche Ticino 718 Cayman he shares with Ivan Jacoma fastest of all in the first meaningful efforts. Mike David Ortmann was the first to surpass Fontana, as the PROsport Aston took top spot with half an hour left.
Then came Sancinena and Tirman, with a flying effort from Sancinena pipping the Vantage by a slender 0.013s. A handful of full course yellow periods disrupted the field’s plans to achieve anything better, leaving the #110 Alpine out front at the flag.
Ortmann and Hugo Sasse were second fastest, ahead of the fastest Pro-Am pairing Corentin Surand and Etienne Cheli in the #8 CMR Toyota GR Supra. New Silver Cup championship leaders Enzo Joulié and Lluc Ibañez were fourth fastest overall in the NM Racing Team Mercedes-AMG, ahead of the second Autosport GP Alpine of Jean-Baptiste Mela/Laurent Hurgon.
Code Racing Development’s A110 GT4 of Antoine Leclerc/Loïc Villiger rounded out the top six.
There was a tight fight for top spot in the Am class, with W&S Motorsport’s Mikhail Loboda and Andrey Solukovtsev emerging late on to steal the place.
Loboda set the early pace before being usurped by Aleksandr Vaintrub in the NM Racing Team Mercedes-AMG, and then new class championship leader Benjamin Ricci in the Akkodis ASP Team Mercedes-AMG he shares with father Mauro. But Loboda reasserted himself during the late stages to secure the place.
Christophe Hamon moved the Team Fullmotorsport Audi he shares with Michael Blanchemain to second, with Vaintrub/Stanislav Safronov taking third from the Riccis and Massimiliano Tresoldi/Paolo Meloni’s W&D BMW M4.
Erik Behrens/Daniel Roos finished as the leading GT4 Scandinavia crew, with their Alfab Racing McLaren taking 18th overall. Emil Skärås/Hans Holmlund were second in the #229 Toyota Gazoo Racing Sweden GP Supra.
