The French team has been a regular in the single-make Alpine Europa Cup, where it lifted the overall drivers’ title last season.
To make the move up to multi-marque GT4 competition, the team will field a trio of Alpine Cup graduates, headlined by reigning champion Jean-Baptiste Mela. He will share the team’s Pro-am entry with Laurent Hurgon, who was a two-time race winner and finished fourth overall in the Alpine series last year.
Another Europa Cup race winner last year, Simon Tirman, will share the squad’s Silver Cup entry with Pierre Sancinéna, who returns to GT4 competition after a year in the European Le Mans Series. Sancinéna has a strong history in GT4 racing, having won both the GT4 International Cup, and Alpine Europa Cup back in 2018.
The team’s #55 car has been numbered to pay tribute to the year of birth of the Alpine brand, which was founded in 1955.
