Allied Racing's Møller-Madsen tops Nürburgring opening practice

Nicolaj Møller-Madsen was the fastest driver in this morning’s free practice session at the Nürburgring.

On his fourth lap on the 5.137 km Grand Prix circuit, the Allied Racing driver recorded the fastest time in the one-hour practice session.

With a lap of 2m06.234s the #21 Allied Racing Porsche was 0.271s faster than the #718 Centri Porsche Ticino entry, completing a Porsche 1-2.

Third fastest overall and quickest in the Silver Cup was Duncan Huisman in the #99 V8 Racing Chevrolet Camaro. In his first GT4 European Series session in over year, the Dutchman was just 0.302s slower than Møller-Madsen.

Lluc Ibanez put the #15 NM Racing Team Mercedes-AMG in fourth overall and second in Silver, with current championship leader Gabriele Piana setting the fifth fastest time overall.

The #22 Allied Racing Porsche and the two CMR Toyota’s completed the overall top eight.

In the AM category the top spot swapped hand several times, but in the end it was the #89 AGS Events Aston Martin of Nicolas Gomar and Gilles Vannelet that was the fastest in class.
