Code Racing Development will become a new Junior Team for GT3 powerhouse Comtoyou Racing from next year, with aims of running Aston Martins in the GT4 European Series.
French squad Code has been best known for operating Alpines on the GT4 Europe grid, scoring a memorable outright win with Antoine Leclerc and Loïc Villiger at Spa back in 2022. While the team continues to run Alpines in French GT, it has also expanded to an Aston Martin GT3 programme in the Le Mans Cup.
This has brought the new partnership with Comtoyou, which has been a multiple race winner across recent seasons in GT World with the British brand. From next year the two teams will work together under the title Comtoyou Junior Team by Code to create a pathway for drivers to develop through GT4 competition before stepping up to GT3.
The squad plans to field Aston Martin Vantage GT4 Evos in a range of championships, including the GT4 European Series. The project has the backing of the Aston Martin Racing Academy.
Founded in 2017 by experienced racer Pierre Comby, Code has built a track record of success across many major championships in both circuit racing and rallying.
Since partnering with Aston Martin in 2024, Comtoyou Racing has excelled in GT World, establishing itself as one of the leading teams, winning the recent Endurance Cup round at the Nürburgring to seal second in the Teams’ Championship. The team also celebrated an historic victory at the 2024 CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa.
