Fuchs and Förderer shine for Schnitzelalm in second practice

+ Result, Free Practice 2, Circuit Paul Ricard

GT4 European Series newcomers Cedric Fuchs and Enrico Förderer emerged fastest from a busy second Free Practice session at Circuit Paul Ricard.

The #111 SR Motorsport by Schnitzelalm Mercedes-AMG emerged at the head of the pack with a quarter of the session remaining thanks to a great lap from Fuchs before he handed across to Förderer for the final minutes.

Before that, Pedro Perino (Speedy Motorsport GR Supra), Gabriele Piana (Borusan Otomotiv Motorsport BMW), Pedro Garcia (Racing Spirit of Léman Aston Martin) and Victor Bouveng (Schubert Motorsport BMW) all enjoyed a spell at the top of the timesheets, but none could match Fuchs’ best.

Lluc Ibañez and Alex Papadopulos improved late on to make it a Mercedes-AMG one-two in their NM Racing Team car, with Bouveng and Joakim Walde third but fastest in Pro-Am. Nathan Vanspringel and Erik Evans were fourth in their Academy Motorsport Ford Mustang, ahead of CRT-Sport’s GR Supra shared by Hudson Schwartz and Lucas Cartelle.

Garcia and team-mate Clément Seyler were sixth ahead of Robert Consani and Benjamin Lariche’s Team Speedcar Audi. Florent Grizaud and Louka Desgranges were second in Pro-Am in eighth aboard their Racing Spirit of Léman Vantage. Nicco Ferrarin and Julien Briché led Am comfortably, with their JSB Competition Porsche finishing 14th fastest overall, clear of Mikael and Christoffer Brunnhagen’s GR Racing Sweden Supra.

Qualifying is scheduled for 15:50 today.
