SRO Motorsports Group is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Luc Braams following his courageous battle against cancer.
Luc was a committed driver during the early years of GT4 racing. Notably, he competed in the Dutch GT4 Cup and the GT4 European Cup, which would eventually develop into today's GT4 European Series Powered by RAFA Racing Club.
He shared this passion with his entire family, particularly his wife Liesette and son Max. Indeed, he and Liesette often shared cars in GT4 competition, driving for their own Las Moras team, while Max would spend a time working as series coordinator for GT4 Europe.
Luc remained an active driver until 2019. Making his final GT4 Europe appearance at Monza alongside Liesette, they secured two podium finishes at the Italian circuit. As a character and a competitor, Luc will be fondly remembered in the GT4 paddock and beyond.
SRO Motorsports Group extends its sincere condolences to Liesette, Max and the whole Braams family at this difficult time.
