Saintéloc Racing announces first fully French crew for 2023 season

The French team and their team manager Sébastien Chetail already had championship plans in mind for the newly formed duo Guilvert-Hamon, with their Pro-Am entry in the French FFSA GT Championship. But now we know more is in store, as Grégory Guilvert an Christophe Hamon will also bring the Saintéloc Audi R8 LMS GT4 to the grid in the GT4 European Series, also entering in Pro-Am category.

Both drivers have a proven track record in the competition and even have championship titles shining on their resumes. At the end of the 2021 season, Guilvert was crowned Pro-Am Drivers champion, while Hamon bagged the same prize in Am-class.

Based on all that experience and the intricate knowledge both drivers share of the Audi R8, ambitions are understandably high.

Grégory Guilvert explains: “Christophe and myself almost ended up driving together in 2022. I'm happy we have now finally managed to make it happen. The GT4 European Series, for me, is one not to miss as the tracks are fantastic and the level of competition is extremely high. People say you need one year to learn and one to win. This year, we both know this car, we know each other very well, and I'm sure we'll come out strong!

Christophe Hamon adds: “I'm so happy to announce our entry, together with Grégory who has become a good friend. I can't thank Saintéloc and Sébastien Chetail enough for their confidence in myself, and the same goes for my trusty partners. Our goal is clear: we want to see ourselves in a position to win the title. See you in Monza for our first race of the season!”

Saintéloc Racing concludes the announcement stating that further line-ups for the upcoming season are to be expected shortly.
