Team Speedcar kicked off the Circuit Paul Ricard weekend with the fastest time in this morning’s Free Practice session.
Driving the #4 Audi, Robert Consani was the fastest man out in the first session of the weekend for the GT4 European Series. Consani posted a 2m13.520s lap 15 minutes before the end of the session. His fastest time was three-tenths faster than the time set by Jim Pla in the #87 AKKA ASP Mercedes-AMG. Antoine Potty was third in the #8 CMR Toyota.
Behind the top tree, Gregory Guilvert in the #42 Saintéloc Racing Audi was fourth fastest overall, with Charlie Fagg putting the #23 United Autosports McLaren that won both races at Monza in fifth. Patrice Evrard completed the overall top six in the #88 AKKA ASP Mercedes.
Fastest AM driver was Christophe Hamon in the #69 Team Fullmotorsport Audi. The one-hour session saw 39 of the 44 cars entered this weekend completing at least one timed lap.
Track action for the GT4 European Series resumes later this afternoon. The second 60-minute free practice session is scheduled to start at 18:20 local time here in the south of France.
