Allied-Racing confirm Kasperlik and Buus in second entry

Jan Kasperlik and Danish youngster Bastian Buus will race the team’s second Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport this season.

Buus was signed as an Allied-Racing Junior driver this week and will race with team owner Kasperlik in the Am class of the GT4 European Series.

The young Dane will make his GT debut in 2020, after starting his career in karting back in 2013. At the age of 16, Buus will be one of the youngest drivers in the series.

“It is a big step for me and I am really looking forward to getting the season started and showing the world what I can do in a real racing car,” said Buus.

“Many thanks to Jan Kasperlik, Allied-Racing and my sponsors, for believing in me.”

Kasperlik made his GT4 European Series debut at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza in 2014. After three seasons in the Pro-Am category, the German is now set to return to the Am class, in which he finished second in 2016.

The GT4 European Series will get underway at Silverstone on May 8-10.
