The Dutch team has a long history of success in the GT4 European Series, having specialised in running American machinery in the championship across the last decade. Last season the squad celebrated third place in the Silver Cup standings, running the sole Camaro GT4.R in the field for drivers Jop Rappange and Thijmen Nabuurs.
For this season V8 has signed another member of the Rappange family, 18-year-old Dante, who will make his GT4 European Series debut in the Silver Cup class alongside Herremans.
Dante Rappange is the youngest member of the Rappange racing family, joining Jop and his sister Belle in competition this season.
Having started out in karting, Rappange gained circuit racing experience in both the Dutch Ford Fiesta Sprint Cup and VRM BMW M2 Cup, where he scored five podium finishes on his way to third in the championship last term.
Herremans (33) has been a regular in the Fiesta Sprint Cup, having won the championship twice across the last four seasons.
The pair will now team up to handle the 6.2-litre V8 Camaro GT4.R for the full European campaign.
Dante Rappange said: “I'm really looking forward to this season! After a good year in the BMW VRM M2 Cup, I am convinced that I am more than ready for the switch to GT4. Together with my team-mate Kenny I think we can make a very strong team. I would like to thank my partners, family but also Frans Vöros, who has guided me from the first year of my career and will continue with me this year. I can't wait for the test weekend at the beginning of March at Paul Ricard."
Kenny Herremans said: “A little over a year ago, we started working toward a racing programme at a higher level, and today I can only be happy and immensely grateful that this has become a reality. It has been exceptionally hard work over the past few months by my management to make this all possible and I would like to thank all my partners who have supported me both today and over the years. I am also looking forward to working with the team and with Dante. We will of course still have a lot to learn, but I am convinced that we will form a strong team that can deliver some great results. I am preparing myself physically as well as possible, I am constantly in the necessary simulators and I am impatiently looking forward to the test days in Paul Ricard.”
