Just minutes before the scheduled start of the session the forecasted rain hit the track and race control delayed the start, hoping for conditions to improve rather sooner than later.
But as conditions did not improve, the session was called off 37 minutes after its original start time due to the inclement weather and safety reasons.
Weather permitting, Free Practice 1 will now take place tomorrow morning at 8:10 CET and will last 55 minutes. Free Practice 2 is rescheduled to start at 12:00.
