Trivellato Racing makes GT4 European Series debut with Mercedes-AMG

Trivellato Racing by Villorba Corse will enter a pair of Mercedes-AMG GT4s in the championship. The two-car entry marks the return of Raimondo Amadio's Villorba Corse team to the series.

Between 2016 and 2018, Villorba Corse successfully campaigned the Maserati GranTurismo MC GT4 in the SRO Motorsports Group GT4 series, clinching the GT4 Central European Cup Teams' title in 2018 as well as several class wins in both the GT4 European Series and the GT4 Central European Cup. This season, Trivellato Racing by Villorba Corse already won the Gulf 12 Hours in Bahrain.

“Villorba Corse is pleased to return to compete in a series where the team has been one of the top contenders in the past. We believe it will be even more competitive, but we are back with great motivations," said Amadio. "We are happy to bring a famous brand such as Trivellato to an European level again and to double our commitment from one to two Mercedes-AMG GT4s. For racing history and palmarès, the ideal horizon of our team can only find its fulfillment in the international dimension of our sport."

"Close to reaching an important milestone such as 100 years of Trivellato, we can only be proud of this partnership with Villorba Corse. That will allow us to compete in the most important international circuits again, feeling once more the unique emotions of our racing history. We wish good luck to Raimondo Amadio's team and to all our competitors. Trivellato Racing is back," added Luca Trivellato, CEO of Trivellato Group.

The driver line-up for Trivellato Racing by Villorba Corse will be announced shortly.
