Selleslagh Racing Team names drivers for two-car entry

A regular competitor in the GT4 European Series since 2018, the Belgian team will field two Mercedes-AMG GT4s. Both cars are entered on a race-by-race basis, but are set to compete in all six rounds of the season.

Selleslagh Racing Team will run the #34 car for young drivers O’Neill Muth and Luca Bosco and the #35 for experienced drivers Johan Vannerum and Sven Van Laere.

Muth and Bosco will step up from karting to GT racing. While Muth has a year of French F4 experience under his belt, his Italian teammate has no international single seater or GT experience.

Vannerum and Van Laere know the series well and have been competing in the Am Cup in previous seasons. Vannerum won his class in the opening race of the 2018 season and claim five class wins in 2019. Last season he competed in four races, taking three podium finishes. Van Laere shared the Equipe Verschuur McLaren with Liesette Braams in two rounds in 2018.

Team owner Patrick Selleslagh is looking forward to competing in the 2021 season.”We will compete in the GT4 European Series, but have decided to enter on a race-by-race program. But we will do a full season with two cars.”

As in our genes, we opt for a young duo, namely O’Neill Muth and Luca Bosco. They both come from international karting competitions, know each other well and that strengthens the bond. I am convinced that they will do a great job,” added Selleslagh.

“Our second duo is 100% Belgian with Johan Vannerum and Sven Van Laere. Their aim is clear: to score as well as possible in the Am Cup. Johan and Sven have a lot of experience, know the car and the team well. On that level, we are ready to start the season in good conditions,” concluded Selleslagh.
