AGS Events confirms GT4 European Series return for 2021

The reigning Silver, Pro-Am and Team champions will field three Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4s in the series this season.

César Gazeau and Konstantin Lachenauer will make their GT4 European Series debut together in the Silver Cup behind the wheel of one of the three AGS Events entries.

Gazeau (17) won the title in the Am category of the Championnat de France FFSA GT - GT4 France last season, while Swiss driver Lachenauer (18) from Switzerland won the Ultimate Cup F3R title. Both drivers are looking forward to racing in the GT4 European Series.

"After a first season in GT4 France, I wanted to take the next step in 2021. Taking part in the European Championship this year with the AGS team is a great opportunity to gain even more experience," said 17-year-old Gazeau.

"The team has been very welcoming and has a method of working that suits me well. A big thank you to AGS for their confidence in me and to all my partners who have enabled me to continue my journey. Now I'm really looking forward to my first European race with the Aston Martin at the Monza circuit," Gazeau concluded.

"Participating in the GT4 European Series with the AGS Events team in an Aston Martin was my first choice. I had the chance to meet the team and the feeling went both ways immediately," added Lachenauer.

"This season will be a new experience for me after winning the championship in F3R last season. I want to give my best and wear the AGS Events colours high. I would like to thank my main sponsor Bovet and all the people involved behind the curtain. I can't wait for Monza," he said.

AGS Events will announce its other drivers soon.
